Rock Climbing!

I woke up and did an awesome kickboxing workout! Took a shower and got ready for the day. I went to work from 10-1. I was pretty bummed to find out that there were 10 more food records that needed to be entered. (It takes about 30-35 minutes per record). Some how I had missed them yesterday when I though I was all done :( Went to economics, followed by a group meeting where again only 1 other person showed up. So at least we have our stuff pretty darn well figured out. Then I rushed to the post office in order to turn in a "Working with Children's" background check. Then I booked my bum back across campus to my place where I quickly ate a snack/ light early dinner because Andrew picked me up at 6 to go ROCK CLIMBING!!!!!!

We went to a indoor gym called Rockface. Here we met up with his friend Blake. It is about the same size as climb time towers. But more than twice as expensive! It was $27 for a day pass + harness and shoe rental and that was with a student discount! At Climb Time Towers I'm used to paying $11. However, the monthly membership fee is $45. So, depending on how often we go I will probably sign up for that. It was a great time. I had not climbed since I busted up my foot (5 months ag0!) I couldn't believe it had been that long. It felt so good to climb again! My skill level and muscle strength went down just a bit but it should come back quickly once my muscles have recovered. My forearms and fingers were so sore that when I went to do my econ homework later on I had to really focus on making my letters (like I was 5 again). Blake and Andrew did pretty well too. I'm hoping that once I get my arms back into shape we will take a trip to the quarry that Blake told me about.
Here are some pictures of the gym. It was pretty crowded when we first got there, but emptied out after an hour or so. We climbed from 6-9pm. I forgot that I had brought my camera until we were packing up to leave so I snapped a couple of pictures. Blake is in the bottom left of the first picture.
Afterword Andrew and I were pretty hungry and I had decided that I wanted Chinese food. We drove around the shops close by my place but nothing was open :( Well Subway and Dominos were but they are not Chinese. So he took me home and I made fried egg sandwiches for dinner.
